Michael has more than 15 years experience as a Retained Search Executive, primarily in the Oil and Gas Industry in the United States, Canada, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia and the Middle East. His expertise spans sales, operations, technology leadership and finance primarily for middle-to-senior-level management. Over his career, he has conducted over 200 searches with leading companies like Halliburton, Baker Hughes, Forum Energy, ABB, Rockwell, Siemens, Aspen Tech, Booz Allen Hamilton, Infosys, BHP Billiton and Shell.

Zulema brings over a decade of sales and recruitment excellence to her Associate Partner position at OBEN Partners. She is dedicated and enthusiastic about meeting client needs at the highest possible level. She has extensive experience in the Oil & Gas industry in recruiting and staffing for service companies, drillers, operators specializing in field personnel, sales and support staff. GAYLE ALSTOT – SENIOR ASSOCIATE RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
As head of research and development for OBEN Gayle brings over 35 years of research experience along with degrees from Baylor College of Medicine, Winterthur Program at the Winterthur Museum, The University of Delaware, National Museum of American History at the Smithsonian as well as The Center for AIDS Information & Advocacy. Gayle is responsible for overseeing and supporting OBEN's research function including its -best in class- executive search data base as well as assisting in the creation and management of OBEN's portfolio of competency based recruitment and evaluation processes. She also supports the development of OBEN's exclusive tools and applications for a more personalized method of communication.

Maria joined OBEN in 2017 as an associate in research and recruitment. Prior to joining OBEN Maria spent 16 years’ with AMS one of the leading providers of automation and mechanical services in the US working with companies like occidental petroleum, Transocean, Exxon, Siemens Energy and Automation, Honeywell and ABB. During her time at AMS Maria progressed through a series of roles with increasing responsibilities including sales support, human resources, marketing, business development, project management and recruitment.

Eliza joined the team as an intern in 2016 and was quickly promoted to full time Associate Recruiter. She is currently a senior enrolled at the University of Houston Jack J. Valenti School of Communication where she is wrapping up her degree in Corporate Communications with a minor in Business Administration from the C.T Bauer College of Business.

Rocio holds a B.A. in International Relations from ITAM (Mexico), a Diploma in European Integration from the University of Barcelona (Spain) and a Master's degree with merit in Global Political Economy from Sussex University (United Kingdom / Mexican government scholarship). She has worked more than 3 years in an energy consulting firm focused in value-chain projects, business development and energy policy.
